About me

My research focusses on the physical processes that drive river form and function using field and flume experiments with particular emphsasis on meandering rivers. I investigate these physical processes considering biological, geological, and hydrodynamic interactions from a holistic riverscape perspective. Active projects include estimating river discharge using remote sensing techniques, studying the effects of floodplain vegetation on channel morphodynamics, impacts of climate change on native trout habitat, and post-fire stream response.
